World Mountain Bike Awards

With Queenstown becoming the obvious place for northern hemisphere riders to train in their off-season, running a globally focused awards programme was an obvious choice. Rod and the team came to Fluid for an online nomination system leading into an annual black-tie awards ceremony to celebrate ‘all things bike’. Entries were encouraged throughout the build-up to the event using social media connections to encourage entries and raise awareness throughout the biking industry. A network of riders and supporters from all over came together. It generated plenty of content and some awe-inspiring clips from all corners of the world. We worked closely with the client to develop a visual identity for the awards along with the web page, entry collateral, social templates and physical assets for the big night.


With the first year declared a complete success, the plan is to grow the event and encourage more of us to ‘ride the red carpet’.
